Required characteristics

Power supply module

  • 230V AC / 5V DC

Microprocessor module

  • based on microprocessor ATmega128-16AU
  • USB/RS232 converter
  • SD card slot
  • buzzer
  • real time clock (RTC)
  • button or jumper to factory setting reset
  • status LED which will be using blinking to inform of device status information (due to possibility of not having connected display)
  • connectors to connect IO modules

Ethernet module

  • optional ethernet additional module

Display and buttons module

  • optional display and control buttons (configuration can load via serial port, TCP or load from SD card)

 

IO modules

Temperature module

  • jumper which can determinate if it is cooling module (in case of increasing temperature above specified value closes the switch, in case of decreasing temperature below specified value off the switch) or heating module (in case of increasing temperature above specified value off the switch, in case of descreasing closes the switch) - this characteristics can be solved in firmware
  • connectors for 1-3 temperature sensor from which temperatures will be averaged
  • 1pc SSR relay for switching the appliance
  • connector for direct connection of button/switch which switches the relay regardless of the temperature

Temperature module - extended

  • switching of more temperature sources into one (e.g. mixing hot and cold water with different temperatures into one keeping the temperature using the switching of refrigerant or heating, ...)
  • connectors to connect up to 6 temperature sensors from which will be evaluate which relay have to close the switch
  • 2pcs SSR relay for switching the appliances
  • 2pcs connectors for direct connection of buttons/switches which switches the relay regardless of the temperature

Motor module - low-voltage, DC

  • controling the operation of low-voltage motor with possibility of variable speed using PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) and with reverse operation
  • connector to connect DC motor
  • connector to connect motor power supply from external source
  • connector to connect potentiometer for direct control of PWM
  • connector to conect button/switch for motor operation direction
  • connector to connect button/switch for on/off external motor power supply
  • jumper which will directly switch external power supply

Switching module

  • high voltage switching device
  • 1pc SSR relay
  • connector for direct connection of button/switch which switches the relay manually

Servo module

  • control the servomotor (e.g. pro opening/closing the valve)
  • connector for servomotor connection
  • connector for direct control of servomotor potentiometer connection

  • 1pcs temperature sensor at the output of HLT
  • 1pcs temperature sensor in mash/lauter tun (MLT)

  • 1-4pcs temperature sensors in fermentation vessel
  • 1-10pcs temperature sensors in lager cellar
